Haven't Heard Back From Adsense

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Wreckadge, Dec 7, 2016.

    Hi Everyone,

I tried to sign up for AdSense and haven't heard back in over 2 weeks. It is stated that I would hear back in 3 days. Anyone else have this issue?

    Thanks.

That "3 days" is old advice and Google should change it. It takes 2-3 weeks.
What URL did you apply with?

I missed your signature!!! There is a good chance you won't get approved with site; only 5 posts; try again when you >50 useful posts

Is there really a content limit before getting approved?

Not formally, but 5 posts is not remotely close.

Usually it takes 1-2 weeks for Google adsense to approve or reject the application. So you need to wait a bit longer.

its because they have daily ten thousands messages like mine and yours....it takes time and sometimes you will never hear back.
the best solution is to call them

You were right. Just heard back today - lack of content.

I'm going to try again after getting ~25 posts.

It's also going to depend on the length and quality of your posts and not just the total number of them. Many people have what they are calling 25, 50, whatever number of posts but the posts are 100 words or so and then they wonder why they do not get approved.

While there is no set minimum amount of words that a post should have, the longer the better as long as they are quality posts and you aren't trying to lengthen them just to reach a certain amount of words.

I would worry first about making sure that your posts are quality posts and of a decent amount of words and then worry about the number of total posts you have.

Also, do not go trying to just spin some posts from another site and then post them on yours or you might wind up finding out that you just wasted your time.

    Good Luck. ;)

P.S. "Lack of Content" can also mean the posts were too short in length and not just the number of posts. It can mean many different things and Google isn't always real clear on everything they do. ;)
