Roughly, how many monthly pageviews does a website need to have to earn $2K revenue per month for following niches? a) business b) fashion/clothing c) finance d) movies e) music f) travel Thanks in advance
Tradester: Page views don't equal revenue. Determining how many of those page views you can convert into paying customers will get you to the $2000 per month you are looking for. Also, the amount you make from each product will determine how many page views you need. If you convert 50% of your views into paying customers then you have to get a lot less views than if you only convert 5% of views into paying customers. Start thinking of how many views you can convert and how much are you going to make from each conversion. Good Luck, Dan
Absolutely not the right way of measuring your ROI, you can have 10 visitors but sell to 9 of them or have 10,000 crappy visitors and only sell to 9 of them. Each website, product and category is different, you cannot find these information (at least actual ad valid) and if you find them online you cannot just simply generalize to your website.
Hi tradester, From our internal statistics: you have to have ~4M pageviews per month to gain $2K (real cases for news/beauty niches)
All depends on: 1. if this traffic is targeted if yes you can have a 1 - 5 sales even with 50 visitors per day. 2. your website should offer something like buy this and get this for free 3. if you want 2k per month, you need to sell something what has a bigger value products which costs more... in general all depends on traffic if is targeted or not...if doesnt you can have even 1k visitors per day and no sale
There is no limit in terms of Pageviews that determine the exact revenue per month and it depends on the type of niche. Popular niche like fashion/clothing will do a lot revenue.
Agree that pageviews does not equate to revenue even though there is a correlation. There are many contributing factors such as your target audiences if they are going to your site for just info or with the mindset to purchase something...
