Do You think that I copied your logo? Hmmmm

The only common element is the beer glass (obviously with beer). The concept itself is totally different.

And honestly, when you think of man cave idea's the first think that come up in your mind (after cave) is the beer.

 

Don't get butt hurt.. I simply stated Hmmm..

 

My try:

 

So I like different style aspects from a few different submissions. Unfortunately it is hard to choose just one designer, so I would like to combine different style aspects from three different designers.

I like the styling of the beer mug from "chapps", I like the styling of the initials "TMC" from "agenk", and I like the styling of the arm chair from "johnrossgd". (refer to photos attached) I would like to combine all these styles together.

I would like to combine the image of the mug with the arm chair to have the handle of the mug also look like one of the arm rests of the chair. I attached a photo of the drawing I made of the rough idea of what I mean by combining the mug and chair (I'm sure you can design something better than I did, but it's the basic idea). Then to the right of this image I would like to have the initials "TMC", and then have TodaysManCave.com underneath everything.

Let me know if you have any questions about what I mean. Thanks again for everyone's good work so far, we're getting closer to finalizing a concept.

I don't mind doing the requested revision.. but!

If I take, let's say - the TMC style from @agenk and you choose that design, then it's only fair that I would need to split the contest prize with them..

Do you understand what I am saying?

I mean, you can't pick and choose something from individual designs/designers and then have the designers "COPY" from the others. Those designers brought those elements you are referring to the contest.

It's highly unethical "at least for me" to copy another designers work.. unless I know I have permission from the other designer to do so as we are both getting paid.

So asking "or referring to" other elements from different designs/designers is encouraging copying others work.. I know, bit of a dilemma.

Just my thoughts.

I completely understand what you're saying, it is kind of a dilemma. But I'm in a little bit of a dilemma myself, where we want to have the best possible logo for our site, I can't pay everyone, I like certain aspects from all of the entries, but unfortunately there's no one single entry where I like all the aspects of it. So from the situation that I'm in, I don't know what else I could do.

 

Thanks for your revision, it looks great so far. This is the most promising of the submissions so far. I would like to adjust a couple of little things though.

*Could you please make the back rest of the chair just a tiny bit taller and/or make the beer mug a tiny bit shorter, that way there is more contrast to make it more obvious that there are 2 different objects.

*Could you please add some vertical lines to the mug (something like what's shown in the attached images)

*Remove the shadow from beneath the chair.

*I would actually like to completely remove the large initials "TMC" and put "TodaysManCave.com" to the right of the chair. With a thin line separating the chair from the text. Could you also make the letters T,M,and C just a little bit larger than the rest of the name so that the initials stick out a little bit more?

* Also, please make a version for light backgrounds as well as for dark backgrounds.

Overall great works so far, this is looking like the most promising submission.
