Anyone have a slingbox?

Just wondering, anyone have a slingbox here? I'm getting one from 'santa', and I'm pretty excited

As far from what I have read, It lets you watch your tv from your house when your on vacation.

 

I just found out about it a month ago. It isn't that popular, but has a lot of positive reviews.

but I like having to relearn all the stations when I go on vacation!!!

 

I go to Brazil to see family for 3 months, so It's perfect for me. I know portugese and have cable there with many american shows, but it''s still nice to have the american channels


But yes, the hotel cable is always fun to play around with

 

3 months would be a long a stretch, I could see the value in that for sure.

Yeah, except I hate staying at the ones that only have the "basic" channels though....and of course 1/2 of them blow...C-Span and C-Span II - you spoil us!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I don't really mind not being able to enjoy TV on vacation though... because its enough fun to be on a vacation anyways
