As far as I know the only official AdCenter rep on the DP forums (or others) is adcenter411. I've spoken with this person off line and am sure they are an AdCenter/Microsoft employee.

    everyone,
i am the person who PM'd you, mjewel. i can understand your skepticism, but i do work for adCenter. i'm not on the support team, i'm part of the client services community team and i partner with the support team to solve issues like those you are reporting here. i don't work directly with the folks who answer the phones, so they wouldn't know me by name, but i do work with other adCenter support team members. your post raises a point we should address on our end, in that I should sync up with the support team to let individual support representatives know that i’m out here contacting users about support questions and issues, in case they hear from folks like yourselves who reference adCenter411. this is something i’ll need to take up with the support team, and then i’ll get back to you once we figure out how this will work.

i also understand your hesitation to share details with me. we are just getting started with our community efforts and you don't know me that well. in some cases, though, i am unable to help you with your issues unless i know the specifics. in such cases i may contact you with a private message to establish a connection. if anyone out there is not comfortable with that - totally fine and i understand, but i do have to try, because my job is to help you sort these things out. if you send me a private message, i will respond to you and put you in touch with someone on our community team, who may be me and may be someone else, who can help you get the answers you need. i can also help by directly answering your questions in the forums. if you don't want to share any private info, but need answers, leave a post with a more detailed explanation of your issue and i'll work to get answers.

let me know if you have any questions.

    thanks,
    adCenter411

Well I know support with MSN is most likely different but when I've ever called Microsoft for support they have been very good. I've called about Windows, .NET, etc. I rarely need to call (Microsoft Geek here) but there are times that I may need to get in touch with Product Support Services.

AdCenter support hasn't been great so far...I think the same comments/frustration have been voiced across all the major SEO/SEM forums where there's discussion surrounding AdCenter.

    Regarding that support I will say two things;

    1) It's a million times better than it was in November. Trust me:)

    2) I think it's great that MS has someone out on the forums responding to people at an individual level and trying to help solve issues. When's the last time you received a PM at a forum - or even a direct response to a question on a forum - from a Google or Yahoo employee? I know Google and Yahoo have people who post in some forums but they are very picky about where they post, they never answer any real questions and I've never received a personal response to any PM or e-mail I've sent them.

There's no doubt that there's still significant room for improvement with AdCenter's support department but I've been impressed with how they are approaching things and trying to improve. The effort is there and at this point I take that as a very positive sign.

Great, I'll send you a PM with the support ticket number as the issue still hasn't been resolved.

    Thank you.

I have been webmastering and building sites for years. Lately I find myself doing more programming on a .net server than anything else in the past including some graphic design. My experience with AdCenter has been alright, though im not sure how to get TopLenderSearch.com better traffic for my current student loan consolidation sites Student Loan Consolidation at EducationalFinance.com and Student Loan Consolidation site number two MyStudentLoanConsolidation.com also, I now have a database driven system we are using to add other content systems, and I am not sure if I can link multiple accounts on AdCenter to make it efficient. I love design, but the actual marketing of it all makes me wonder if I can keep up on everything including watching for fraudulent click trends in our database. Back to work i go, any insight is appreciated.

Nice looking sites, but there is no way in hell I'd even consider throwing my hard earned money at anyone with a domain called "MyStudentLoanConsolidation.com"
Sounds like crap I've come up with while sitting at the computer in my underwear at 3 in the morning, with an itchy trigger finger on GoDaddy.

...and if you are serious about something here (whatever it may be, I still don't understand your post), I just put high bids on all student loan keywords on the Big 3 search marketing programs.
    Let's rock!
    :D

I dont understand it.. but just seems this thread went off topic thanks to the spam attempt hehe.

Bringing this back on topic, at least we have adcenter411 here to help with our questions.

I was actually trying to understand how to get adsense to work better for me. So far driving traffic there (educationalFinance.com) has been a pain. Do you have any good ideas?

Thanks for the compliment, (sort of) the reason for MyStudentLoanConsolidation.com is for indexing. If you look at the sites that have heavily listed themselves with backlinks... er go to google, type in Student Loan Consolidation. YOu will notice that allot( or part of the successful matrix is having the keywords in the domain. And just to answer what a name like MyStudentLoanConsolidation.com is good for.... ITs the first thing borrowers say when they call bud. They say "Im calling you back about [MyStudentLoanConsolidation" so yeah, its funny you have an itchy finger at 3 am wanting to buy domains like these. But i guess i have to say that i did, and im glad i did. Borrowers dont really care about the domain, they care about thier rate. And at this point, since i posted pretty late here, i was hoping for some real adsense advice for TopLenderSearch.com.... Thanks for saying nice looking sites though,,, i appreciate that. Any POSITIVE INSIGHT other than bashing would be nice.

I have had nothing but trouble since Microsoft's takeover of Yahoo's advertising. Their customer service is despicable. I have been promised phone calls back and never have received them. Many emails with promises to contact me that were never acted upon.
Microsoft’s customer representatives are lacking basic knowledge and just plain common sense.
Within the last month I have called and spoke with two people who had no idea what they were doing..which in turn has cost my business a lot of money. One representative actually had the nerve to tell me I had to spend between $20-$35 per click to have my ad show up on the first page when just months ago (before the changeover) I was paying .20-.30 cents per click for the very same keywords....and being shown in the first three position. His excuse...".t is a different platform"....and "things are much more expensive now".
I advertise with Google....pay between ..25-.50 per click and get tons of business. I advise business owners like myself to put your effort and money into Google. It is no wonder that they are the number one rated search engine.
I have never submitted to a forum before but am so passionate about how horrible ADCENTER is, advertising and customer service wise...that I felt the need to write.
