I thank You for your wishes about improving my English. Of course, I will try to continue to communicate in this language in order to improve it.
Si je suis le faire, si vous le pouvez. I would estimate that 50% of the membership here are ESL like us. We all have had to start from somewhere.
So you don't do well in either French or English? You poor thing you! But don't worry because as you will find out sooner or later, the language most spoken here on DP is gibberish. All you have to do to learn this language is to read the crap that many posters write. It's pure gibberish and many members speak it. If you'd like an example of how gibberish is spoken, then have a read on my thread "How do you write when you're not in the mood".
You allow yourself to mock me here. Ok. But I would not allow to myself to do the same thing to you. Do you think you are more clever as me be? I think opposite.
After all, I don’t care about gibberish. I think, that main thing in language is the idea, and if it is a good idea, newer mind what way it provide to you – with the gibberish language or in beautiful speech.
If I wanted to mock you I would have done a better job of it. If you are this touchy then stay away. But that's the thing with some ESL members. They take it all so seriously because their English is so lousy. They feel that they have been insulted. When actually the person on the other end was just trying to determine if they were dealing with a good sport, and someone with a sense of humor....you poor thing you. Back to topic, is this how you practice your copywriting "skills?"
My experience in copywriting is really very wide. But I write in Ukrainian and Russian. I would be like to do the same in English. And I don't minde to exchange the experience with English-languagers.
Now you are being reasonable. Don't be afraid to joke around on here. And try to "roll with the punches" as the Anglophones like to say. I too get insulted easily but it does pay to lighten up. You actually write pretty good English for someone who speaks Russian/Ukrainian. Try to have some fun on here and do continue to try to improve your writing. As you say exchanging like this will improve ones writing (copywriting) skills. A word to the wise though, in order to improve you must be willing to accept criticism from time to time. It's never easy to do this, but we must if we are to evolve and get better at what we do.
