how can i show my ads for particular country ?

for example

i have one website and i run adword in Australia only .

i select this country as " Australia"

but if i am open www.google.com.au in india then it show here as well

i don't want to do that

is it possible ads run only if someone open from Australia ?

if possible then please let me the steps

Hi,

Yes you can target only one country and restrict the traffic to only come from that country. There are 3 options as a Targeting method:
*People in, searching for or viewing pages about my targeted location
*People in my targeted location
*People searching for or viewing pages about my targeted location

You need to choose "People in my targeted location".

 

there is same option under " Exclude"

should i do anything with this ?

 

This is an option you can use for example if you'd like to target all countries, but one or many particular countries. Let's say you'd like to target the whole world, without US and UK, then you can use the option to "Exclude people in my excluded location". These countries you can add in Negative Location.

I think you most likely did it correctly. But from experience, if you have clicked on the ad (either if you were testing it etc), it will show on your search and other websites. Maybe test on another computer or browser if this is the case. Because if you select 1 specific location, then it should only for to those locations.

Another reason I was thinking did you change your IP when testing?
