hI, Is google search country sensitive? Im from brazil my site is hosted at Usa , when i search at google usa my site is ranked #2 but when i search using google brazil my site its not at #2. Should i move my site to brazil? Thanks
evidently yes. my site is hosted in canada and i get higher rankings in google.ca, and even when canadians search for my keywords in google.com
yeah i did think so though i'm not sure if you have to change your site to brazil host as lots of people search through US though if your targeting Brazilian visitors then do so...that is just my opinion...
Yes, it's country sensitive. Generally .co.in in domains indicates that it's an Indian site. If there's one for Brazil, you can register that domain and do a 301 redirect to your main site. I think it won't be required to change servers and hosts... Bye
In my opinion hosting doesn't matter. It's important to have domain related to your coutry. I mean extension. If your target is Brazil, buy .br domain
I don't think so, geo-localisation matter. Having your site hosted in the country you're targetting can make some differences. And extension matter too.
tooo sensitive I rank first in google.mycountry almost in all my desired keywords but I don't even appear in top 10 in google.com
My target is Google Poland and my servers are in Hungary. I'm for now 4th in the most important keyword. Domain is 2 month old so i think I'll manage get in pole position in 3 month time. That keyword competition is extremaly high.
This is effecting a lot of people as I'd say the majority of people use .com its just as important to be in there as it is in your own country. I'm based in the UK but rarely use the UK sites option as it loses a lot of .com sites which are also Uk based I have the same prob with my UK searches recently as my site www.GhostRacingSeries.com is UK based but has a .com and america hosting its recently not seen in the .co.uk UK only results
