@LoganK: I don't really like the bubble look for the flag. It's also too patriotic and doesn't seem like a "brand"

 

@cosmin90: This design has really come a long way and was one of my personal favorites. I appreciate the work you've done to bring it this far. It's clean; it's simple. And that's what I like.

I have been showing your series of designs to a group of family and friends over the past several days and many of them really like it.

Here are some of the feedback that people have told me, that I thought I would share with you:

1. If somebody doesn't know that the business is called Town Web Design, they might not understand there is a hidden "W" and therefore misunderstand the name of the business.
2. Somebody also mentioned that if somebody new to my business does not know that it has to do with municipalities and government, that they might not make the connection that the "w" represents a municipal building
3. I also had somebody else mention when they saw an earlier version of the logo that it looked like a circus tent for the "W".

So this is the dilemma that I face right now. I know and understand the logo & business, but I'm afraid it might not be understood very well by first time viewers (and by potential clients).

 

@katesrobyn: It seems your entries lately are all about quantity rather than quality. Thanks for the effort. I like the swoosh part in the logo though. That'd be a cool mark to use for an athletic brand named after the Greek goddess of victory.

 

@mkels: It's not bad. The only thing is that the eagle looks like a wooden duck sitting in a pond.

 

@Robert Cox: I'm not feeling it with these design examples. They stars and stripes example is too patriotic and not "governmental" enough.

The hex shape design and the circle design seem more apt for a bank.

I have made some modifications for the roof and for the "W", to be more readable.

 

@kainraziall: I think these designs are trying too hard to be patriotic. It just doesn't bring out a professional image for a company in the government sector. I'm starting to feel that the building designs either look like something in Greece or like a bank.

 

@FlashD: WOW! I like this one a lot! It's simple and I could see it being a mark for a brand.

Can you try doing this one with a different font?
Also, can you also try a concept if the same thing but without the eagle? Just experiment with the flag on the same lines.

@ngodz: the top one is okay but it doesn't hit the mark.
the 2nd one is too patriotic and looks too much like a postal stamp
the bottom one is too patriotic as well and fit more for a company that sells fireworks (it doesn't look governmental enough)

thanks for the feedback, and I guess you don't have the right to "belittle" our works about the "quality", just tell what u like and don't like, and that sswoosh thing is a part of the subtle "flag" concept... oh well i guess your pretty naive to know eh?.
