I am needing to delete my current facebook account and create a new one. Is their a way I can save my data and just transfer it over to my new account.

    hello

It is not possible to move photos from one account to another (merge personal accounts).
Facebook does have a Download Your Information tool that would include all the photos you have uploaded to your account. Once you have the photos on your computer, you could delete the old account and create a new account and upload the photos to your new account.

You will find the link to the Download Your Information on your Account Settings--General page.

Here is a link to some FAQs on Downloading Your Information:

That seems like a lot of work just to get a new account number
What's the problem you are trying to resolve?

    hey guys
do you know a way of multiple friend deletion or group deletion. FB is way to slow in the matter that you have select each and every contact and group individually.

@ak23 if you go to your own profile and click on friends you are shown all your friends on a single page and can unfriend them from there.

I don't mind the slow leave processes for groups - I just leave them as and when I no longer need them and want their content in my feed.

I don't think there is an automated way to do that but how many are you trying to remove? Just do it manually if it is not too much, but if it is then just delete if you have spare time, you'll be able to finish it eventually.
