    Not necessarily "daily life" but when, in the '80s, we decided to go nuclear free there was a huge upheaval as the US withdrew support in all kinds of areas. We send our troops as support - a big deal for us, probably barely noticed by your guys and our news and entertainment media follows the direction you lead (ie biased as hell). If your Government goes off course and takes a dramatic stand we'll get sucked along behind you. We are far from independent politically.

    Absolutely Hillary has meaningful achievements. She left the White House "broke" (her words) and they now have $350MM+ in the bank for giving "speeches" to Wall Street financiers and oligarchs in the Middle East. She also just finished a photo finish with the FBI in a criminal investigation. She also had another accomplishment: deleting 30,000 emails when she found out that she was being investigated and then lying about it for over a year. During her tenure at the State Department, she had a very successful "reset" with Russia, did wonders in Libya, and also made great progress with Syria and Iran. She has also been making marvelous achievements with "pay to play" sleaze at the Clinton Crime Family Foundation. Were the lamestream media not trying to carry her across the finish line, she would not even be a viable candidate at this point. Were her name Hillary Rodham and she had not been married to Slick Willie she would not even be on anyone's radar screen for any position of importance, including the Senate seat she carpetbagged her way into and promptly did nothing with during her term. She has a record that liberals must be very proud of. :)

    Promising to give people free stuff to get elected or nominated as a presidential candidate is not an accomplishment. Anybody could do it.

    Hillary carpetbagged her way to New York in a district that votes Democrat and her husband pardoned Puerto Rican terrorists to curry favor with a critical Democrat voting bloc so it would help her get elected to the Senate.
