This is my first post on digitalpoint. Why am i not getting traffic in my website after doing so much hard work. Is there problem in themes, customization, post, content Please check MY BLOG websitelords.com
Well first you need to know what you're doing, if you're doing a lot of work and it means nothing to traffic, it literally would all be just a waste. Some of the things you should consider if you're not yet doing, Youtube Video advertising Quality content with backlinks from other websites.
Is your site working properly? I think your images is not displaying properly. Please do the on page optimization perfectly. Then target your keywords and do the SEO based on keywords. Give importance on organic traffic. Increase social networking site activity. Share your post in different social networking sites. Try to get user engagement on your post. Your site age is 7 to 8 days. Its very short time. Your site is a baby site. Be patience, keep posting with high quality unique content. And of course optimize each post with long tail keywords. You need to wait at least 3 months to see the result. If you can target long tail less competitive keywords and can post high quality unique content, hope you will see the result soon.
This is fairly common; I have heard many similar stories "I have no traffic..." then come to find out their site was only a few days old. The old setup it up, and they will come attitude, and when traffic doesnt come, they start going crazy.... Welcome to world of never getting lots of money or traffic in just a few days.... Here are some things to consider: 1: Are you in the right niche to even make money? 2: What is the quality of your site design? 3: What is the quality of your on-page seo? 4: Do you have a sizeable budget to get quality/trust backlinks. 5: Do you have budget for quality content? 6: Do you have the patience to wait months or years? (It may take several months to note if your plan is working or not....) I read a story from an affiliate not to long back; He claimed it took him 3 years before his website started to become successful; For the first year, he spent $1000/mo on his site buying top notch content, and high quality backlinks.... (results can vary, some see results sooner, however, most fail altogether...) reasons for failing: 1: Give up to soon. 2: Lose interest, no longer update site. 3: Lack of basic knowledge 4: Lack of budget/funds to take site to the next level. 5: violate google rules, this can be death to any site... It is true, back in the 90s-2000s, you could have used a bunch of free spammy methods to get your site to rank, however, these methods do not work anymore, now it is like pay to play... but you have to pay the right people in order to do the right jobs... do you have the skills to do your own content, or get the right backlinks? Do you have the skills for SEO, On/off page, SEM, link building, etc? I am on still on the fence about LSI keywords, or going out of your way to actually look the keywords up. If you know your product/topic very well, and you have 5000 word articles. I am just saying your content should be written for the visitor in mind, not for google, ie: Natrual content
In order to promote your website using SEO and getting traffic, I think at first you need to learn from many famous and largest websites about SEO such as: searchengineland, searchenginewatch, searchenginejournal, Moz,...they're all giving free basic SEO techniques that you can follow and practice. After that, you should apply these techniques on your own website with your domain and hosting, try your best to practical daily as much as possible. I believe that you can get the archive after some months you try hard. Good luck to you,
You can't expect for traffic to start in such a short period... For most niches starting a new blog today will start getting good traffic in a few months... NOT in a few days! Of course you should do link building every day! And post content often!
Yeah i started like this too, a blog does not get popular on the internet automatically, you should in fact have between 30 to 50 articles on your blog before you start expecting engagement and steady traffic, cos once user notice its a new blog with little or no information, they are likely not to return, i will advice you focus on working on your blog, ignore the traffic and it will come after you have done your own home work properly

There is a difference between "hard work" and "smart work"... My advice, combine them together and add "+persistence" to the equation and you've got yourself a winner! VeniVidiVici
I can see that he gave up, but lets look at this example. He should have been HAPPY with that traffic. When I started my IM blog I don't get more than 10. I still don't 3 months later. Partially because I am not promoting it much. You can't expect tons of hits fast, just because you exist. It takes time.
