Well, can you share with us what exactly made you think so?

Do you know how to spot high quality directory?

Are you saying that Google, Bing is giving some special preference to niche directories?
Can you provide any proof, anything to substantiate your statement?

Whose truth?
I know from my experience anyone who is advocating in favor of limited ways promoting
resources in the end will loose an opportunities to succeeded in places which might look like
loosing proposition whereas in reality they are proving to be the places you can depend on.

Internet is not McDonald's joint where you can get your favorite bite but rather the place
where any opportunity given should be grabbed and not dismissed as not worthy.

Because high DA sites gives strongly boots your site.....

 

It works if we use is wisely. Don't use exact match keyword. It should look natural. I am using it from long time and it is working charm for me

 

Joining the directories is free. But some directories charge you to opt out.

 

It works perfectly unless you abuse it.

sure that backlinks works and I think that they will works even in 2030 ....if you have quality backlinks then it will works everytime!

 

I spent a good 3 hours or more submitting my blog to directories yesterday. I still have a full list of directories to submit too.

Either get a really small about of traffic if any or backlink to the site.

 

Don't go crazy on directory submissions and don't just add your site to any directory. Those who say, I spend 3 hours a day submitting to directories are probably submitting to any directory they come across. Be careful.

Avoid automated directory tools which allow you to automatically submit your site to hundreds of directories

Avoid directories which accept listings automatically without a manual review

Do some research into the directory before you decide to submit.

 

I'm very selective on the directories that I submit my sites too.

Directory submission is not useful for your website ranking or search results. Because the links from those directories have not any value carried. Directories are not used by people nowadays to search or find any business services. So, getting referral traffic from those directories are also have no meaning.
