Ok so while on Flippa, I found a website named waistdiva.com that was for sale. It is a dropshipping business thats making good money. After doing some research, I found that there is also a website called divawaist.com. Would this be trademark infringement because the owner of waistdiva.com is tricking people? Also the waistdiva.com has only been making money for 3 months and its up for sell. Should I purchase or no? There is proof of income.
The site has been removed by shopify I'd run a mile And if the product is that silly stomach binding thing you really do want out.
I'm contacting the seller right now. It'll be interesting to see what he has to say. I'll keep you updated, thank you so much!
Which tells me (and the seller) that you really, really want this site. If there is a whiff of trademark dispute walk away. There are plenty of other domains you can use and it's easy to set up a shopify site and create your own brand.
yes I'll take your advice. It's nice to have somebody look over it for me. I'm trying to get started in this business and to hopefully make this my career, but its proving to be very difficult
If you are serious about making money in this business, then stay away from purchasing any website from Flippa. Actually, stay away from spending any amount of money before you gain some useful knowledge about digital marketing related topics. People usually make silly mistakes of investing money too soon before they even explore the area. I'd advise you to spend 2-3 months on learning about subject of internet marketing, making money online and doing a good business by working from home. If, after three months of absorbing information, you are still more than willing and excited to step in this business, then you are halfway there. The rest of the road is, however, way harder. It involves a lot of hard work, failing on a daily basis and having an incredible self-discipline that will help you endure hard times. If you manage to get through all of that, congrats.
I would like to one day buy from empireflippers.com because of how safe they are. But they're also so expensive, probably because the websites have true quality and care. But I have to stay with flippa for right now. If I can land a website thats actually not a scam, maybe I can actually make some money and work my way up.
I'm glad that ma was laughing, what about pa...was he laughing too? I'm willing to bet that both ma and pa would advise you not to buy, best listen to your parents.
