Shockingly UNJUST action of "G"

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by fortgo, Dec 16, 2006.

Well, the day came for me as well, as I just
received an email from The Google AdSense Team
    saying the following:

So, after the innitial shock I sent immediately the following email to them:

Whatever they are to reply to me I am taking
their ads off my proxy right now, and will start
placing other ads instead of theirs + more, like
    pop unders

Darn, what I really hated the most was the threat
    of "maybe" suspending my account.
Totally, totally unjust action according to me and
And I really start having enough of adsense already...

Please be careful. If once you fall into their Google's sight
they can do any thing at their wish. I really don't understand
how MFA sites, warez and illegal MP3 sites are just fine, but
    legitimate sites get the boot.

When will YPN be out of beta and give people a good alternative?

On my site is nothing whatsoever that is adult
or porn! Nor links to such sites!
Why should I be punished for where the surfers
are going via my site? There are NON adsense ads
    on these pages either...
    Jeez

Uhoh. I have a proxy network and about $400 from it in my account, I hope this doesn't happen to me.

Sorry to hear about that, dude. That's pretty messed up. But my question is - how did they find pages users were browsing to?

^ every time a google ad appears on the page, the url/link would be added to google logs.

As an aside, thats why security/privacy groups are concerned about googles dominance. You dont need the Government to snoop what links are out there, just ask Google. It would have alot of peoples Email, Searches, Websites visited.

    Chatmasta,

I am not a dude btw :) as for the rest -
no idea why do they check where people
    are surfing to...

And I told them clearly that their ads do
NOT appear on the proxified pages, so it's
pissing me so much off that #$%^&*()
Eventually I will calm down though, and
after a day or so when having placed
some other ads and am seeing the results
    I'll be smiling again :) ... I hope

You even get called dude!? wow. I mean, I get called dude (and 'he'), but my avatar is pretty neuter-looking. Then again - some people are male, yet have a female looking avatar.

fortgo, isn't the same web site that you were selling vibrators and sex toys or are we talking about a different site?

If that's the site, then those things are adult content.

Running adsense on proxy site is always risk. You dont have any control over the pages being visited. Most probably users will be using proxy site for illegal stuff.

You may not be able to use adsense on that domain again. yeah. it happened to me also :)

    LOL, NOOO
By the way, I am not selling anything
on the site you mention, as yet, and
it is definitely NOT a proxy site ...

You are being inconsistent here. Your first post was
I don't believe we have to trust anything you have to say here (unfortunately).

Most likely you place your ads on the proxified page. Am I correct?

    Shoemoney,

If I may ask, what has the "promotion"
of the adsense blackhat edition has to do
with what I explain above? None, and I
mean it - none of their TOS has been
    broken on my proxy site.

Why I do have the adsense blackhat edition
in my signature is because I think best for
everyone to know both sides of the coin.
Simple as that. Personally I have not been
using any of the BH techniques.

Kh7, little do I care what you
think of me, and if you believe me or not :(
I have read in several posts here that this
is the best thing one should do, if and when
"G" has banned a site - TAKING THEIR ADS OFF.

Jeez, why do people have to always "attack
and kill" in their "kind and friendly" answers
    to others?

No, EV1L, I have never placed any of their ads on
the proxified pages, and this is why I am so
    puzzled with it all

I call everyone dude. :) But what I mean is, don't they need to have some sort of tracking mechanism installed on proxied pages in order to view the ones that have been visited? It isn't like they have access to your apache logs. The only logs they should be able to see is those of pages where AdSense is installed.

Chatmasta, I am not good with tech stuff
really, and have no idea how they know what
    people have been visiting.

Have heard and read from several sources
that they do check lots of what peple do
online, so it shouldn't be a big surprice.
