    Hello friends,

    I want to install mac os x 10.8 in Macbook 13 inch - Mid 2010. Can any one help me to find out where should i download the operating system?? I know i have to pay for this but i need a downloading link.

    Also i have one more question if i want to install 10.9 or 10.10 or 10.11 operating systems in my macbook then it compulsory required 10.8 os install in my macbook??

    Then what's the error you get? If you have trouble, try reinstalling the computer via network, then upgrade the install afterwards, if it doesn't download the latest version?

    Eventually your mac will not support further upgrades.
    Have you checked that your machine will be able to handle this version? Could explain why you aren't being offered the upgrade.

    It will. I'm running latest OSX (El Capitan, OSX 10.11) on a Macbook Pro mid 2009.
