Some of you guys are poor at math. 500 domains x $1 per domain = $500 Hosting = $20 * 3 = $60 per month And I make well into the $xxxx per month and you say it's hardly profitable. And you act like 500 sites is a lot of sites. I was only building at a rate of about 50-100 sites per month in 2006 so far, but I am ramping up production to 300 per month.
Google is extremely weird. They allow AdSense on some pages of that site, but not all pages of that site. They have criteria which are not listed in either the ToS or the Program Policies. Google and I go 'round and 'round. AndyG has the right idea. Every case is different with Google.
10 a day wouldn't be too hard to build, especially if you already have DB's for all previous keywords/sites. You should be able to double your income, in theory, pushing out that many sites.
I have said that for a long time. Most disagree but heck even if it is harder you sure make better friends white hat
I would agree to some extent. Blackhat is much harder to get started with and a lot of people get frustrated, but blackhat is building technology and once you've built your infrastructure, it basically takes no time to launch another batch of sites. With whitehat there will always be a time involvement. I think it depends on what your skillset is.
In one of his recent articles Shoe Money pointed out that there is no BH or WH there is gray hat so more I learn about web development and internet marketing I tend to believe that at some point in your WH you end up employing some BH technique. Let me know what expert say here. Jamx
Ah, but with whitehat you can build it and forget it. With blackhat, you constantly have to be replacing the sites that Google has banned and you constantly have to be responding to Google's algorithmic updates.
Most whitehat sites require frequent maintenance. If yours don't though, that's great...that's a good as blackhat. Whitehat sites get banned too. If my sites get banned I could care less cause I've already got hundreds more going up all the time. The algorithm isn't as difficult as it looks to some either....it's like taking candy from a baby.
I don't believe that. I am totaly white hat. I create my sites for my visitors not for my robots. And I have found that in doing so Google loves me for it. If there was no search engines I would change nothing on my site.
To build not index. Google catches and kills these guys pretty fast. Just ask one of them. They will tell you they make their money with yahoo and msn and not google. Google is not spam-friendly. Here is the article of the guys who make over $1000/month with Adsense.
