Solo Ads are list of owners who will allow you to advertise to their subscribers. When you do that, you're buying solo ads from them.

It's one of the most rapid technique to build an Email List and monetize it almost instantly after at least 500 subscribers.

There are lots of fb groups, skype groups and portal where you can find Solo Ads vendor.
    Personally i use Udimi primarly.

Obviously you send an email to the list of the Solo Ad vendor where theres link of your opt-in page: with a freebie in exchange of the mail as usually.

    Which will you use?
    What's the average opt-in rates?

What do you think about this method?

I use it all the time. But you have to keep in mind that the vast majority of subscribers are going to be freebie seekers. Once they are on your list, you have to build a relationship with them and get them to trust you. Then start coaxing them to spend just a little money. After you get them out of the freebie mindset you can start actually marketing to them with better results.

Not bad to set freebies once in a while, and would be nice if they will continue to subscribe because of your great feeds and not just freebies.

Not all of the leads you get from solo ads will be freebie seekers. For instance, I peronally built my list with paid offers. I never gave away a freebie. There are lots of people who are perfectly willing to pay for something if the see value in it.

I 100% agree with this statement. I also build list with paid offers. Since, according to my experience, if someone is in mood to buy, he/she will buy it immediately. Your offer should be strong enough. And, I'd more profit in that way. Besides, it doesn't waste your time either.

If I want to build my relationship, I'll build with those who have already bought my product/course, and I'll genuinely help them too. But, I won't waste my time converting readers into buyers as such. Because, 99% of those readers won't convert, no matter what you say. They won't even open your emails...

Other people perhaps had better results that way, but I had great result with the buyers' list only.

    Hi:

I have used solo ads for quite a while. The average opt-in rate is between 30% and 50%.

There are several sources. FB group solo ads testimonials has over 30,000 members. You can buy solo ads there and then report back how it went.
Other pltaforms include clickonomy.com and clickperfect.com

    Check them out.
