    Yahoo answers does not work like this now, they have made some major changes.
    Moreover it is true that you can get easy traffic from quora, but with yahoo answers you can get more traffic to your website as it is more popular compared to quora.

    I don't think it helps with SEO but when I leave a link in the bottom, I certainly get spikes in traffic when I spend an hour a day giving detailed answers to questions.

    i dont know about traffic.. but i do know that.. inorder to give a clickable link.. you need level 3 or more.. cus i reached level 2.. but no use..
