Hi, just now when I tried to open up one of my site, the pages could not be displayed. But my hosting site as well as my cpanel login is working fine. I tried a few more time but my site still could not be opened up.

Just wanted to know if this is a server problem or it is some kind DNS problem

Hope to get some fast input:)
    Thanks,
    bnts

PS: My host is hosting my site on shared IP

check your files, if the cpanel works, it should work your pages too. If the problem persist, contact your the hosting company.

My files seems all ok... only thing is that my site is not opening up :(

Is this anything related with nameservers? or it's completely a server related problem?

    Thanks for the input, thedark.

I have already contacted my host..the thing is every other site hosted there are working..even my addon domains are working..what is not working is only my primary domain :( The FTP for primary domain is also not working while the FTP for addon domain (that I created for the addon domain) is still working fine lol

yep, just checked that too...what actually happens is that I was having another domain registered at moniker as my primary domain and some other domain registered at namecheap as my addon domains. Now when I shifted all the nameservers to my new host, I found that the primary domain was not responding but the addon domain were still reponding fine. I talked with the host and I thought maybe it was due to some DNS issue. So, I requested my host to change the primary domain to another domain registered at namecheap which was previously working fine as an addon domain. The primary domain was changed and what was previously primary is now kept in addon domain. Now what happens is that, my addon domain is working fine but the peimary domain is not working now :( [the nameservers for this domain was actually fine before that]. One humble quiry I have here though. Does it require some time to update when we change a domain from addon to primary to get it live, like what happens when we change nameservers?

    Thanks Saad again.
