Just gauging the market to see how many people vape? I am planning to launch my online store in the next few weeks.
Nope. Can't stand the smell or the attitude many vapors have. Have ran into so many that think they have a legal right to vape in any business or place. That alone turned me off of it big time. I know that not all vapors are assholes, but ran into way to many that think they are privileged. Besides that, I hope your new business venture does well. I was a 4 pack a day smoker for many years and wish I had a product like that when I went through hell to quit.
Vaping though better than smoking health wise, is not risk free. There have been numerous instances of electronic cigarettes exploding in people's pockets or in their faces. The problem appears to be over charging, using the wrong batteries or using the wrong charger. Some jurisdictions are now banning vaping in public places, as non smokers find the vapour irritating.
@Rob Whisonant the site in your sig. has unresolved DNS issues. At least it did today around 11 am US EST. If I smoked and for some reason had to switch to vaping, I probably wouldn't, rather, I'd switch to cigars.
Hey Rob, Appreciate the feedback. I have also come across these "vapers" who think they are also top dog because they vape. Thanks for the wishes. I fully agree as there are long term risks with smoking. Appreciate the feedback.
My only exposure to vaping was from an IT guy who was a former smoker turned vaper who was complaining about the short length of his charging cable. He told me that the charging cable is actually a standard Male USB cable on the other end that will plug into a PC or USB charger/power supply, so I gave him a 10-foot M/F USB Extension cable from my ecommerce store's inventory and he was thrilled to bits. He said that he wanted to resell these cables to the local vaping stores as it was a common complaint of vapers, but it never happened. But I have wondered if there is the possibility of a market for these cables to vapers.
