I' am starting a new site and I just wanted to know how many posts should I create before joining the Adsense program. The starter site is in "Downloads Category"... Best regards, Chris!
1. If anyone tells you a number, then don't beleive them as Google have no such criteria. 2. You need enough posts to make the site a unique, valuable and compelling contribution to the web (so that generally means a lot). 3. If you looking for adsense for a 'downloads' site, then generally forget about it as they routinely get rejected. See (2)
Hi Chris, as stated above, there is no set number of posts that are needed to get AdSense approval so we can't say a certain number of posts would be best. Of course it's always better to have more posts to help with your approval. Some things that are needed or that will help are that you need to make sure that your posts are unique, of high quality, add some kind of value over the next guy with the same basic post. Google see's countless sites with the exact same thing so why should they approve one if it's another blog with the exact same information in about the exact same format? Make you r site unique. Also as stated above, it's nearly impossible to get a downloads (Files, etc. downloads) site approved so you'll have to work that much harder for approval if that's the type of site you have. There are other options out there to monetize your your site if it is this type of site, so if it is then you have options. Good luck
I read an article where a novice blogger said that you could get approved in 3 days by Google adsense if you take the time to professionally develop your site. So if your site looks high quality, has a few articles here and there (can't be 0, but probably not more than 10), and has a little traffic coming in -- then you should be approved fairly quickly. Another thing they want -- your domain reg info has to match your irl info.
The download category that I am talking is about design. I am a graphic designer and I am gonna upload all my premium designs for free with a social locker to gain more exposure. And not only downloading but also reviewing themes and etc... Because the ctr over is very high and different from informational site here is click over consume. Best regards, Chris!
Are you serious? wouldn't make much sense to apply for Adsense if your site doesn't even appear in google search, or is barely ranking for any keywords. Obviously the site does not have any authority at all if it's not getting organic search traffic.
It does not say anywhere in the guidelines that you need >40 articles that you claim. You are just making that up.
