Hi, I was browsing online and found some sites on ebay for sale that are like PR 5, PR6, PR 4....the site was going pretty cheap...I was wondering if anyone knows anything of this? Why would someone be selling a pr 6 site for $30? Can they fake the pr? Also the site has no alexa rating...no cache snapshot by google and it is parked.....

Is it some sort of bs?

You want to check here ALWAYS before buying a pageranked domain
    http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html
Fake pagerank is accomplished with a 301/302 request and this tool will detect if the reported PR is in fact the correct pagerank. I have never had much success selling domain names on eBay but I look at it pretty freequently for great buys. There are just too many 'bargain hunters' on eBay to get a great value for such an item as a domain name. The value of the domain name lies in the eyes and pocketbook of the beholder. I have an index of a ton of useful tools and resources to check out domains at http://www.froggydomains.com/links.asp if you want to check it out.
