I have been a Godaddy customer for 12 years and I kinda like them, I also like Singlehop, Hostgator, Bluehost and many others too be honest ! I just wrote an article with pictures , I hope helps someone , https://webhostingharvest.com/install-wordpress-via-godaddy-managed-hosting/ If you are NEW to wordpress or the internet scene, Godaddy Managed could make your life easier so you can just start blogging right away For the seasoned / advanced guys: Its a FAST easy way to start "side" blogs or networks
Very good tool from godaddy but how much they charge for this tool ? By this tool multi site managing is easy I think.
You can get managed hosting for $1.00 or $12.00 for the year actually https://webhostingharvest.com/install-wordpress-via-godaddy-managed-hosting/ That is an article that helps you its true - Joseph
I'm not much happy with these godaddy, hostgator hostings. If you are a serious blogger and want to run for long time - my first choice is AWS. It is very easy to install wordpress in the cloud now a days.
Godaddy's managed wordpress doesn't have cPanel which is badly needed for a newbie and Min package price is $7.99 /month when you renew, with this price i could buy a VPS. Godaddy's support is too bad 25,000 monthly visitors, while i need this traffic daily. For newbie, i would suggest blogspot or wordpress.com or localhost because this time they need practice. Here is one of my article, get 10 months free cloud hosting from digitalocean. On the other hand, I like namecheap, because of their support and pricing. https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/shared.aspx their server seems better to me.
I am completely satisfied with GoDaddy hosting services , think it's perfect for Wordpress ( I got my site thanks to special themes from http://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes.php , I can't code at all ). I currently use free hosting, going to change it for a paid version soon.
You know, OP, it is a good idea to speak to web host's representative to make sure that you'll receive exactly what you need.
