    My question is related to sitemap, why we use site map, is there any strong benefit to use sitemap, can my website get high rank position using sitemap.

    Hi,recently i have worked for a German company, so that reason i have to check various website for verifying information about business company, and sitemap helped me so much for finding wright page as soon as possible.

    Sitemap is the one important page every search engine look to get information about what they are looking. So submitting site map to search engine you will get targeted traffic from search engine. Most important is sitemap on every website.

    Sitemaps do not improve the ranking of a website. They are in fact useless if all the pages of your website can be found by following links. Sitemaps only come into play when your website contains pages that cannot be reached through external links. Else you do not need to worry about sitemaps at all. All major search engines will index your pages with or without a sitemap on your server.

    xml sitemaps can increase the speed of which search engines discover new and/or updated pages. HML sitemaps can provide human visitors a nice overview of the site.

    XML sitemaps will help the search engines crawl your site more efficiently. It will not help you with your rankings whatsoever. The benefit would be that your pages may be indexed quicker.
