Looking for some input on my new website design, layout and portfolio. Website: http://drowningmonkey.com Portfolio: http://drowningmonkey.com/portfolio/ Thank you in advance. Regards, Ray
Pretty cute! Text is easy to read, cartoons successful and fit text content, beautiful colors. I've seen some animation on the site, which is very good. The portfolio is quite rich. Try using a mock up presentation made by you (will give you an extra professionalism). Regarding the page "Services", I appreciate that you explained what each service, but try using prices like $300 Brand Identity, $600 Responsive Website and so on (personally I do not like the prices like $299 / $599 / $199 / $899, I find annoying). On page "Contact" and trying to add variation to talk by e-mail, not just by phone. "Affiliate signup" is nice too, but try to make the text bold. Put the search button below than the menu. PS: That's just my opinion and sorry for my bad english.
I think it looks great! The website's simple, the branding is consistent, and your portfolio is organized. I wouldn't implement pricing tables though, and here's why: one project can take you longer than another project, even if they're in the same project-type realm. I'd find an hourly rate that you're comfortable with, bill your clients per project milestone, and have your visitors request a quote depending on what they need. Never limit your income.
Hello, it is very good site and design too! I like such creative and interesting design! Also, i will advice you to address a niche, I think it will be a good solution for your blog!
That's a very good point. I'm gonna remove the pricing tables and just add a section describing my services. Thanks.
