Contest Need a simple Awards Badge - $30

Hi Guys,

I need an awards badge design to give out to bloggers who won an award from our site. I need something simple and good looking that will encourage the winners to add to their site. Something like this:




But I need some changes: Nominated should be "Winner"
Title of the award is "Best Billiard Blog"

Here is an image on the awards page - please note the color scheme and match it with the badge.

@Dreamer05 I am not sure whether you did the design without noticing my design. I had this concept of putting the billiard tools in the middle coz that will be the highlight of the badge. Please take a look at entry #4. @akdiver what is your views on this? thanks

 

@akdiver I guess contest holder has to reconsider it. My idea was taken and it was improved by Dreamer05.

 

@akdiver whats your view on this. I gave this design idea well before dreamer05.

@Dreamer05 Design was already made well ahead of you. you should have noticed it well before. I guess at least, I should have been the runner. My design idea won the 1st place and I ended up with noting. It is so unfair.

 

@Dreamer05 you could have very good skill in designing but if you are poor in coming with ideas, all your designing skiils are waste. Ideas and designing skills go hand to hand. I request all other fellow member to take a look at my entry and dreamer05 entry. The concept I used in entry 4 is same as dreamer05. Since it can't be the same he took the main theme of it and made modifications. Even he mentioned it in his thread. Placing billiards tool in the middle of the badge will be highlight and it will be catchy.
Before you start designing something first have a look at your fellow members design posted in the thread and start your design.

@Dreamer05 you better be careful in choosing words. Fighting for my concept is not stooping down. You better mind your words in public places. You should feel ashamed that your design idea is copy of mine. Its your fault that you didn't check out your fellow members design before posting your design. Be wise enough.

And this advice comes from someone who re-used a premade design and implement it in his 'original design' as seen in the thread above. Seriously, you are in no position to advise others on how not to copy others' idea or design.

 

@jokomamamita Dude, that case is different. I didn't know that it was already there. It seems, it was found elsewhere in the internet. Moreover, you know there are many logo making software's available with customizable vectors. I just used one of those software. In that I found this beer design and I just customized it. Most of the time I prefer Corel DRAW and Photoshop for my design. But, here in this case my design was posted here in DP and that too in the same contest. Despite it, my design was modified and re-used is not good. Both the cases are different. Don't try to match that one with this one. There are so many designers in this world. You can't be so sure that the design you posted was not already designed by someone elsewhere in this world. One could at least take into consideration, If your design is found somewhere outside DP. But using the same design posted under the same contest and claiming it is his own idea and design is not fair. The cases are totally different and the word he used to offend me and that too in public place can't be digested. When you talk about someone in public places, they should maintain their professionalism.

Come on brother, sometimes we can had the same idea in the same time and this is not the logo contest, the logo already exist from CH, if it is about placing the logo on the badge i think everybody may put it anywhere, i saw that Dreamer05 design is different to your design...just take a look at the font choosing and placing also coloring style, even the badge shape is different...it doesn't mean that we can not breath with our nose cause someone already did that, you are a good designer and you have many chance on other contest here, hope you will get more luck on other contest, Good luck too to everyone.

 

@weirdXtreme I just got cool down. its just not by day. That's it. Was more upset because of Dreamer05 usage of words in public places.
