Need advice on my website

    I have a funny pictures website and I am currently building it's traffic. But I have a small problem. I have categories and collections on the website. After you register and if you want to upload a picture, first you have to create a category or a collection. I don't like it this way, I want the user to upload without categories or collections, so I want to delete them. But the problem is that this way I get to target keywords and drive more traffic.

    So it's basically either target more keywords with less user friendly website, or target no keywords with more friendly website.

    What do you think should I do?
    1. Leave categories and collections feature. Which I don't like but it drives traffic.
    2. Remove categories and collections. Which I like but doesn't drive traffic.

    Are you the categories are giving you new traffic? Organic-search traffic?

    I would not delete the categories, if you take the most out of it, it can be useful. If i were you, i would change the URL form. Now it is:

    http://www.picturepunches.com/category.php?category=43
    Code (markup):
    I would change it to:
    http://www.picturepunches.com/categories/category_name-category_id/
    Code (markup):
    You need to use .htaccess features and change the links you're showing in your site

    Yes the categories are bringing me traffic. But I don't like them, I like to be like 9gag.

    I think your site don't remove the /categories/ in the permalink.

    You have a good and interesting site!) I will recommend you to improve your design! I think you must follow and interact with other sites and blogs! Also, use all social networks for it! I think your site has a good chance to be the one!

    hey nice i have read your problem As you told you don't want to category for the user for upload his picture on your website , and want to keyword which hass less searches on the search engine, i am suggesting you some keyword
