I know for those Who do celebrate Christmas start putting up seasonal items soon after Thanksgiving. I know in the neighborhoods I tend to live in start to put their Christmas lighting up. Anyone in the process of putting thier lights up.

I have also come across some websites last year in research for some ideas of lighting. Here are some ideas or funny sites about Christmas lights

This is a house I helped decorate this year... about a week ago ;)

Also.. please make sure you wash your hands after handling most
decorative lighting products. They all have that soft feeling
because they all contain lead to some degree or another.
Please avoid lead poisoning by washing your hands after
handling and especially before eating or smoking.

Thanx and have a FABULOUS Xmas ;)

I just put my Christmas lights up yesterday. I like to do it before it gets to be 10 degrees outside and you don't want to at all.

I usually don't turn the lights on until it gets to be December though.

Xmas lights cost too much, are a hastle to put up and take down, and deplete an already dwindling power resource. The same goes for the millions upon millions of xmas trees cut each and every year for the sake of upholding a "tradition".

My humble opinion... Im a realist...

    Hi Stuart,

I watched "Stuart's Christmas Lights" Video. Though poor quality but the lights are bright. Is it your home? I was looking for big Xmas tree but I could only see small lightning tree left side of the Video:)

Our tree inside the house is very large... you can see lights through both windows.... the tree is 12 feet high! It might look funny through the windows b/c you can only see a small portion of the tree.

I was wondering how many "greenies" would post here about twinkling little lights being a drain..Will it ever end?

I have a question: Does your local school board/administration refer to "Christmas Holidays" as "Holiday Season" or some other PC drivel?

Have some holiday cheer. And school boards have a twist about things. Although they can not say Christmas Holidays. They call it Winter Break even though it is roughly the same days/weeks that cover the holidays. Thats being politically correct not christmasy correct.

And please if you dont celebrate the Christmas Holiday, just pass up the thread and let others enjoy.

    Happy Holidays..............

Practically a week before Christmas so it attracts a huge crowd. Then everyone can share the Christmas joy!
