Recently a friend told me about www.zotspot.com. This is a company that *hopefully* will revolutionize how we search.
They actually pay you to search!

I don't really understand how it works, so please... discuss!

I don't believe in this. Sounds too easy to be true.

How often do I get paid?
We will pay you on a monthly basis. Note that there is a 60 day delay between the time that the month closes and the time when we allocate money to your account. So it will take a month or two before you see your first earnings. After the first earnings are allocated to your account, if you continue to use zotspot search, more money will be allocated to your account approximately every 30 days.

Is it me or will take 90 days to get your first money ? That if they pay ...

What does zotspot do to prevent cheating?
zotspot has implemented numerous aggressive and high-tech proprietary technologies to actively identify and control cheaters. zotspot will not pay members suspected of being cheaters. zotspot also has taken numerous measures to actively protect its advertisers. The zotspot service is fair and safe for everyone.

I would say paid to surf, paid to read kind of things would not last long. This model is not successful.

There appears to be "normal" adverts and affiliate links as well. The affiliate add appeared above everything else, and I would imagine pays the zotspot website better than the other types of advertising.

Does anyone know how long they have been paying to search?

Reading your comments I don't think it is that good. Sounds like a bit of a "scam" whereas they can ban you, and pay you less.

I think they are ling... This "Note that there is a 60 day delay between the time that the month closes and the time when we allocate money to your account." sounds very strange...

There are a million places out there that do this same thing, so I don't see how this one could be considered a scam right off the bat. The delay in payment is probably just to make sure they get paid from the advertisers and to give them time to screen out fraudulent activity. I might give them a try later on, but for right now I'm more interested in more relevant results from Google.
