    Ok here goes...

Was kinda happy with Contentclickl (CC) their CPC was high but I didn't really get a lot of clicks,I feel there wasn't enough content.
Then they moved over to Revcontent (RC) and all hell broke loose, although the CPC was a lot lower than CC, the amount of clicks I was getting went up by 400%!!

That was the 1st month, the 2nd month there was some kinda changes going on according to Sam and my rates went really crap. Still loads of clicks though.
But so crap that I tried Taboola, and god they were bad, lowish rates although slightly higher than RC's but the click amount was really bad, so after a week I kicked them into touch, they can have my $18.

Now I'm back with RC, the click amount has gone back to good levels, the CPC still not as good as when I 1st started which is disappointing, but I 'm not greedy.

Have tried MGID and Content.ad and while in my very short time testing them their rates started okish, they are very pornified and spammy, not good for my niche.

    Hi,

Yes, this is more or less my experience too. January was an incredible month with amazing earnings, things have since stabilized in February and March (I suspect a lot of this is due to my traffic levels falling off in Spring when the weather is at it's quietest)

In the first few days with RevContent, earnings were incredible but at this point I hadn't put in place any filters. I have a very young audience demographic including really young kids (5, 6, 7 etc) who I know watch my weather video's with their dad's in the evening, so I had to put filters in place to keep out the more risque ad's.

Nevertheless, even with filters in place, earnings have been good and most importantly they've been consistent.

Another good aspect is that ContentClick was limited to serving ad's to just a few countries where-as RevContent has unlimited reach.

The best part of ContentClick was the amazing support from account managers. Happily support from the UK based account managers (who have all moved over from ContentClick) has continued to be as good as ever.

I'm getting my first payment from RevContent tomorrow and everything seems to have gone really well with this transition.

Overall a very positive experience with ContentClick > RevContent so far.

So Gav,you're getting a cheque then?
On thing which I'm not too pleased with is the payout system, I'm holding back getting payment cause of the cheque thing,I guess they send them from the states?

Also notice you're using Teads, how u getting on with them, they are hit and miss with me, at the mo I've no campaigns, just a normal tag, bit of a nightmare tbh.

    Hi Dave,

I'm getting payment through PayPal. They can do wire payment but have a $1000 limit which is too high for me. So then it was between Paypal or Cheque.

To be honest I wasn't that fussed either way between Cheque and Paypal (I'll be having Cheque's coming from America for Amazon CPM ad's anyway and I do kind of begrudge having to give Paypal a "handling fee" LOL) but I was talking about my January payment with my account manager yesterday and he said said if we arrange a Paypal payment they can send January's payment to me tomorrow (Wednesday) so that's what I decided to do.

    Re. Teads.

That's been a bit of a nightmare for weeks now. Up to Christmas everything was great but after Christmas things went badly downhill. They have been doing some sort of "upgrade" to their platform which has given me sleepless nights, LOL. In the past couple of weeks ad's and earnings have started coming back (and I'm now seeing that February and March had much better earnings than I originally thought they would) but I'm now having an issue where the video ad is slowing down page load times for mobiles (to the point where it can take over a minute for my home page to load on a mobile device) So I've had to take the ad's off for mobile and just have them for desktop and tablets.

When things come together (like they did in Q4) and you have a reasonable level of traffic with video ads working all the time, Teads are amazing but they seem to have a LOT of issues and take a lot of my time trying to get them sorted out, LOL.
