Hi guys, I need a new logo for my website : www.nzwarriors.com Information about the website We are a sports fan forum, for the NZ Warriors Rugby League team, which competes in the NRL competition in Australia. Do note that we are an unofficial forum, as such cannot use copyrighted team logo(http://www.freelogovectors.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/New_Zealand_Warriors_logo.jpg). Logo Brief I would like two versions of the logo (one based on the home jersey, and one on the away jersey. Similiar colours used in both jerseys. Ideally text stylized. Ideally incorporating the team colours as shown in the images attached. Should be vector, and ideally flat, with minimal gradient as i would like to use this for the favicon for the site, as well as possibly merchandise i.e. t shirts, business cards, mugs etc. Whilst i think the logo should be stylized text, i am open to the idea of having an image accompanying the logo if it looks good and original, and most importantly gives the initial impression that the person has landed on the right website for discussion on the team. @3SS I like : The colours used. The incorporation of the V. I dont like : The use of an NFL ball. This is for a rugby league, not NFL. The shield look. The fonts used, need to use bolder fonts, simple but vivid. The it should be NZWarriors.com stated in the logo. The .com part is missing and it should not have 'home' and 'away' in the design (not sure if that was just for your mock up). @Athisa Please read brief again. Im going away from the tribal design. To all, Im looking for something simple, and not as elaborate as the above designs. I lke simplicity rather than over complication. As stated previously im happy with NZWarriors.com (with maybe .com part vertical) in the teams colours, with the V being prominent somehow. I dont want to overcomplicate things with additional side logo, or shields etc.

Not a fan of the shield as per previous feedback. Moreso hate the 'eyes'. Dont like NZ at the top as that is nowhere in the brief. Its an overly large logo, when i want something simplistic, clear and visually pertaining to the primary words "NZWarriors.com". Currently that takes about 1/10 of the visual logo spot. Keep in mind i want something simple and to the point, and as such the shield is just taking things away from it. Also i want to be able to rearrange the elements in order to create a favicon 16x16 px so something like what you are designing will just not work. I do like the use of the V and the colours used, but not much more than that currently.
Too basic. To give more detail, what i am looking for is "NZWarriors.com" to be thicker and the main/only focal point of the logo. I would like to see the following: "NZ" in one of the primary colours, "Warriors" is another of the colours, and ".com" in vertical adjacent to the "Warriors" section. I dont mind borders around the text to make it pop. Ideally have some part of the text (you would think the W part of Warriors might be a good fit for this) to have the V. Favicon to be simply be something like NZW. As mentioned numerous times, im looking for stylized text logo containing 'NZWarriors.com", rather than another clipart or otherwise image associated with it, unless it looks amazing with it. With the constant reminder that i am looking for NZWarriors.com text to be standout, note that it has to be somewhat more basic than just popping a font into photoshop and typing it out as the above seems to be.
Please read the brief and feedback provided to previous entries. For example i want stylized text, and not a shield, an NFL football in the logo(wrong sport), or even stars.
like the warriors font, but not sure about the NFL ball, the arrows or the silver fern. I like SIMPLICITY.
