Anyone looking forward to Doom?

    Any oldschool FPS gamers on DP?

    I can't wait for the release of the new Doom game in May. I am going to buy a new computer just to play this game.

    Wow that game looks awesome. I've never heard of it but I'll definitely try it out! It looks so much resource hungry, though. :D

    Hi, I'm a huge fan of Doom! I played all the games in the series as a kid and later I started experimenting making my own Doom WADs. I was a bit disappointed with Doom 3 so I'm keeping a real close eye on this latest release and will probably buy it when the price drops a little. I nearly tried the free beta of the new game on Steam before it released but at the time it was getting very negative reviews and people were saying that it had been turned in to a COD type clone game. Now it's been released however everyone loves it and the reviews are great!

    Always nice to hear from a fellow fan :)

    Yeah I will be getting it just for the single player campaign. I just bought a new laptop so I will be able to finally play it.
