I am in need of some urgent money to support my family. I bought this domain from auction, thinking of doing a business online, looking at the pagerank.

But now, after losing my job in January, I am helpless and having no money.

Hence I am selling this domain

A PR6 & 11 years old domain with starting bid of $250 is very expensive??? :O

If so, then nothing in this world has any value.

The toolbar display of PageRank is dead, but Google still uses PR internally.

We can now only guess at the PR of a web page. We still know that PR is based on getting backlinks from other pages that have PR. Your domain has only a few (and I mean just a few) backlinks remaining (look at majestic or some other tool). So we can safely guess that Google no longer views this as a PR6 home page. Doesn't even look like a PR1.

So, yes, many things in this world have value. Just not this domain.

Wow, what a genius you are.
Didn't know that Google said you that they have stopped counting PR values.
It's my domain, and I know how many backlinks are there.
You are speaking as if you can count any domain' backlinks even you don't have access to that domain.
I haven't invited your hate campaigns here.

Read again what I said. Google still uses PR. But they aren't telling us what PR is any more. Go to any page on the Internet, including your domain. Look at the Google PR toolbar. What's the PR? Zero. 0. No green bar. Google no longer tells us the PR of a web page. That's just the way it is.

I'm pointing out to you that anyone who considers the PR of a domain looks at the backlinks to try to figure out if the domain still has that PR. If you know of some great backlinks that exist, that others can't see, you should tell what they are so potential buyers can check them out. Otherwise, everyone is just like me - they'll run the domain through a backlink checker and see nothing.

Pointing out problems with a domain that's for sale isn't "hate." I don't know you. I have no reason to hate you. I'm just letting you know that your starting bid of $250 isn't such a low price like you think it is.

Feedback is allowed. Anyone using PR to sell anything these days has automatically called their credibility into question
