It seems when certain people on our admin page posts, the traffic can be significantly larger, or smaller, depending. Anyone else experience this?
Interesting theory, I hadn't thought of that before, though I wouldn't put it past Facebook. How long have you been tracking this and noticing a trend?
Makes sense. Some pages get better visibility than others because they get more likes and comments so it stands to figure that if there are several admins posting that that might be a factor. Personally I think it sucks - if I don't want to see everything a page posts I'll unfollow the page. It isn't hard, but then most users struggle with the concept of turning on notifications for a post so I guess facebook are catering for them.
noticed it over a period of a year. when different admins posted, very different results in post reach, even if content was similar, and in some cases, worse. it seems the more active admins had less traffic and had to work harder to get results
That sucks, they should be rewarded for their efforts, after all more content = more views = more ad impressions for facebook to sell
