Although I always advocate against it, there are plenty of times in the past when black hat techniques worked and people earned good cash from it. Even today BH works in some scenarios. The thing with black hat is that you have to know what you are doing and accept the fact that sooner or later you are going to be hit hard by Google.

How can it not be effective if you have made a large amount of revenue in a short period of time and then go again? Is the name of the game not to make money?
