Contest $40 Logo Design Contest

Hi All

I need a logo for The Web Shed Co, which is an online Digital Marketing Tool, details below;

Text: The Web Shed / The Web Shed Co
Design: Simple FLAT logo. No gradients. Good typography. Be bold with your concepts.
Requirements: The logo needs to look good in black and white, as well as in color. The text contained should only be either The Web Shed or The Web Shed Co
Format: Delivery is expected in PSD and transparent PNG (black, white and color).

The design has to be original work only.

I will provide feedback for submissions. The winner if/when they are chosen will be paid $40 via Paypal.

Thanks for your entry, I am not sure it is right for what we are doing.

The website is a SAAS and gives people all the information and tools that they need to be able to complete their digital marketing. I would like to include either a shed, a tool rack or even a single tool as an icon. If you can get a tool for digital marketing.

Our Favourite at the minute is @cosmin90 is our favourite but we ask for some changes;
Can you make the whole name on one line, move 'the' to the same line as Web Shed.
Can you make the font smoother, it looks very sharp at the minute
Can you change the t in 'The' to lowercase? so 'the' and not 'The'

Thanks @cosmin90 still not sold on the font, can you please have a look at something like http://www.dafont.com/comfortaa.font?text=theWebShed&back=top, it doesn't have to be this specific font but will need to be like this on the roundedness.

Here is my revision:

 

@Harvey13 - Sorry this doesn't fit the brand guidelines, the icon has no meaning to the shed/tool aspect
@appleiinc - Not a fan of the shed/house icon, it looks like a house not a shed with the windows. Also not a fan of the font or colours used.
@Animman - Same as above not a fan of the font, house or colours
@irah- - Not a fan of the icon, or the last design with the gradient.
@cosmin90 - Something doesn't seem right with the roof above 'hed' it doesn't look central? Is there any way that you can think of shortening the logo as a different version that we could use as an icon along with the full logo created above.

 

@headless hed and the roof are perfectly centered, probaby my presentation grids made that impression.
