Contest $50 Beard Oil and Balm Label Design Contest

$50 label redesign contest - 48 hour competition

Hi, I have a beard oil and beard balm product that needs the labels sprucing up a bit.

I want to keep the skull and scissors (unless you can improve on the existing one), but want the label to stand-out more and maybe have a more interesting background, and I will need to have room for the fragrance name on the labels for a range of fragrances that I am planning to launch. Examples will be original, Whiskey & Tobacco, Pinewood etc.

I will need two labels that share the same theme, but you can just mock up one now before I choose a winner if you wish.

I am looking for something to make the brand stand out and be creative while appealing to the traditional product.

I have attached the existing labels and the labels will need to be suitable for printing.

Payment will be via paypal and I will want the PSD/editable files. Feel free to pm if you have any questions.

That is really good, the label is quite small when printed and put on the tin so I would need the circle as large as possible whilst keeping the bottom banner. Also I would like the background similar to the attached file.

That is looking really good. Can you make the skull as big as possible. And maybe we can have some writing around the top such as - INTENSE NOURISHING - ALL NATURAL AND ORGANIC. Plus I need to write the name of the fragrance somewhere at the bottom. Original could be used.

That is an awesome effort although I dont like the wavy line. Maybe that could just be a straight circle..

Amazing high quality work from you all and it is a shame that only one can win. The winner is topsniper so well done and I will PM details of what happens next. Notable mention to
weirdXtreme who created an awesome label with an amazing font setup for the name of the brand and Karimc48 came a very close third.

I chose topsniper because the tins I make are very small and some of the finer details on the other designs will not show up well on a 1 inch diameter label. His font will show well, the gold effect will show the premium quality of the brand and I can change the color of the centre circle for the different fragrances.

So sorry for those that didnt win, asking around the office chose different winners so it was a close call. I may also be ordering some more labels for a slightly different brand using your designs so keep an eye on your inbox.
