Contest $20 Logo Contest - Technically Correct Games

Hey all,

We're a couple of hobbyists making mobile games, but we need a logo for our LLC and splash screen. The name of our company is 'Technically Correct Games'. We're open to concepts that connect to the name as well as colors, but are looking for something modern, playful, and distinctive. Hopefully you'll work with us to evolve the concept. If you have ideas you want to run by us before putting down graphics, feel free!

We're just starting out, so we don't have any games published. We're just at a point where we're filing LLC paperwork and whatnot.

I love the little character. He's great. I think he hits the nail on the head w/ modern/playful/distinctive.

I'm not loving the speech bubbles he's in, so I might simplify and just ditch them - or if you think it needs something else for sure and have another idea instead feel free.

I'd like to see some other treatments to the name. I don't think 'Correct' should be highlighted by itself. I also think, grouping wise, it is 'Technically Correct' and then 'Games', whereas this makes it seem like 'Technically' and 'Correct Games'.

 

I like the treatment of the name here better, though I still worry it groups 'Correct Games' instead of 'Technically Correct'. It looks clean and modern, though, and the color scheme is good. I think, overall, it hits the correct notes on modern and clean, but could potentially be a bit more playful.

I definitely get where you were coming from on the logo mark, but I think boxing it into a smartphone adds complexity and a controller somewhat clashes with a touchscreen. So, I'd ditch the phone, but then I think the glasses/controller may be too abstract on its own. I'm not sure - definitely open to seeing it on its own, but would also like to see it evolve in another direction without the phone.

 

The background of the character is actually an egg.

I get the idea behind 'egghead' or 'hatching' ideas, though I still think I'd like to see a version with no additional background there.

The text, I think, is much better. Is 'Games' completely centered under 'TechnicallyCorrect'? It looks like it might be a little off, but just eyeballing it.

I do like the color scheme, but also wouldn't mind seeing some other options.

Apologies - juggling these extracurriculars with work and whatnot.

I think they are good concepts, but they strike me as too complex and not easily digested visually. It may be a better angle to take the original one, ditch the phone outline, and evolve from there, keeping it simple.
