Are you being reasonable expecting a new site to rank?

Ok, so what are the keywords you want to rank for?
Have you got the on page optimisation sorted?
How are you getting on with social media promotions?

absolutely, we all demand a rank 1 hr after setup....
by hour 2, we expect a flood of traffic...

    Tanishq,

I don't believe you've set a reasonable expectation in regard to time frame. If you've just setup your website, it's going to take you time to even get indexed. I would suggest that you go over your website and make sure you have on page optimization on point as sarak suggested.

Second, after you've taken a moderate amount of time with on page SEO, start working on creating content that has value. I can't tell you how much I battled with ranking until I stopped being stubborn and started creating high quality content. If you haven't already, I would suggest you head over to Quicksprout and read some articles that Neil Patel has published on content creation and review the case studies he's presented.

In short, content is king and always will be. Once you start generating it, you can expect to be ranked for the keywords you target.

and unique content wont matter that much until he sets some link building in place...
It can be expensive running a site these days, however they do not realize this
until they set stuff up, then wonder why they are getting no rank or traffic....

This is true, I should of mentioned that my personal strategy is epic content combined with a social media presence. I built a small social media presence and topped it off with content. Social media got me indexed in no time and back links followed shortly after users took to my content. Since the fruition of one of my ventures I've made minimal effort in link building and rank first page for the terms I needed. The effort I did put forth went into edu blogs.

**edit** To give an idea of time frame, this was no short process. Indexing was quick at ~24 hours, rankings came probably starting at ~6 months. Site is now two years old and still on a forward progression as I focus more on long tails now.

I say all of this simply because I know many obsess on link building, especially newer folks. Time, quality, and hard work is really all you need (in my opinion).

As long as you focus on quality, and mix up the anchors, then I see no issue with link building in moderation.
sure, good links will cost you up front, but it can shave time off on how long the site takes to get rolling...
People seem to have the "dream" of a site, but do not "realize" the reality until it starts to set in
on what it actually takes in order to get a site going. Last year I setup 20 amazon sites, it took 3 months
before I ever saw a penny, within six months, they had all died from content starvation...If I would have
focused my effort, time, and money on just building one quality site, then that one site would be making
more then those 20 sites. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way before you actually learn anything....

I just looked at your website and the source... You desperately need to work on your on page SEO. Everyone prior has given you valuable direction and now, I think you need to act on it. Spoon feeding probably isn't going to happen.

however, I am not sure where he is ranking.
I assume he is trying to rank for "bone broth"

what the hell is bone broth...
sounds like some type of witch stew or something...

SEO takes time! so many people underestimate this... Wouldnt it be great if you could just jump t position 1 on google in a few days. Remember that your site has to prove itself to search engines, that it is relevant and well made and maintained.

It would be unreasonable to expect to rank well for keywords in less than a couple of months (depending on the competition of course)

ok. I like your domain, I think you have the right domain.
your site template isnt that bad, looks all right...
like the other person said, get a handle on your SEO.
create more content, more videos, get involved with social media.

I am not sure what the competition is on "bone broth" but keep
repeating what I mentioned, it just takes time., when you are
online, then you are playing in google's ballpark, and have
to play by their rules, just keep putting up content....

If you get SEOpressor.com then that will help you with
your on-page seo on your blog content...

Once you get trust from google, then you are just about immune from anything...
however, earning that requires some good trust backlinks, and time...

    Ok, so:

I searched the first 20 pages of google for your website using the term "Organic Bone Broth", you're not there. That's a little concerning since there's roughly under 700k results; however, it would seem the competition for this keyword is somewhat high.

Second, the only page on your website (which in turth I like your design, you're woocommerce setup looks great) that comes close to having the term is: https://www.bonebroth.com/product/organic-chicken-bone-broth/

My question for this page, is your information listed there Unique or have you copied the product description and such from another source. Is all that content duplicated a million times by other people selling this product? This could cause this page / your website (if all the content on your website is ripped) to fall short on rankings (probably even sandbox you).

Make sure your keyword density is good on the website. Organic Bone Broth should be easy to incorporate on various parts of your site. If you post articles on your website be sure to use internal links that are directed to a relevant product. Build some links, post awesome content about the health benefits of Organic Bone Broth and share it on social media (acquire some buzz about your product). Contact blogs in your niche and see if you can guest post, most wont mind a link back to your product site if your content is awesome. Do what you can to generate some link juice back to your site as long as the link is coming from a website relative to your niche.

Something I just looked at, your social share icons are anything but visible. Change up your icon set so their visible and stand out, no one wants to go looking for those.

    Anyway, there ya go.

**edit** Lastly, spend some time on Neil Patel's blog. The guy is a genius and shares a lot of valuable intel if you can get past the constant attempts at getting you to sign up for his services.

    I checked copyscape...
a couple things did show up on internal pages
nothing serious as far as I can see....

He could buy a link on wikipedia, that
will surely get some trust started...
I know a editor/seller if you are interested...

You've got a great domain but you're up against every established Paleo recipe site.
As other, established, recipe sites catch on you'll be fighting them too
I reckon you can be successful but don't count on Page 1 anytime soon.

@dscurlock broths aren't really soup and the trend is to drink it instead of coffee as your morning pick-me-up. Bone broth is a good source of many micronutrients as well as gelatin which helps skin elasticity. That alone guarantees it an audience. Pete Evans caused a huge furore when he suggested bone broth was a suitable drink for toddlers. I never quite worked out what the problem was - probably just that Coke couldn't capitalise on the market.
