Do You Experience Horrible Page Load Speed On Walmart.com

I dread going to walmart.com to shop. Every time I go shopping, they
have really shitty page load issues, sometimes it can take 3-5+ min just for
one page to completely load, and I cant do anything until the page
loads 100%, and it is such a drag that it causes my other windows
to "stop" working or pause because walmart.com is taking too long.
On avg, it takes me 30-45min just to get a few items in my cart.

Any of you guys experience slow page loading?
As I do not seem to experience this on other sites...
I know walmart gets a ton of traffic, however, when
the page takes forever to load, makes for bad experience.

Minutes or seconds? You say min. I can't believe it takes that long.

Just tested. My connection is fast. And yes it's slow considering it's WalMart. It takes 10-15 seconds for each page to fully load.

Just opened up Chrome and went to Walmart. Took about 10 seconds to load the home page. Then, I was able to bop from product to product with each new page loading about every 3 seconds. Wasn't horrible performance.

Yes 3-5 min, in fact, I am waiting for a page to load right now.
not sure about the home page, I am talking about going from
product to product, and adding stuff to the cart...
at least for me, it is a night mare, and like i mentioned,
I do not experience this drag on any other sites...

    When I goto walmart.com
I feel like I am using slow dial-up...

I just checked the Walmart.com website and after 30 seconds waiting for the home page to load I gave up. They have a problem and if they had any sense, they would fix it.

Looks like it has been an ongoing issue:

    http://sitedown.co/walmart

I never shop via their site, so I had no idea it's been going on for weeks.

We used to go to walmart, but it is like a 30-45 min drive, then decided
to check out their site, and it certainly does save on gas and time...
so I guess i been using them for 3 months or so, and been dealing
with the same issue since I have been using their site...

I left them feedback last night...
I would think other people have done the same thing...
It is very painful to stay on any site that is that slow...

    Walmart's Response...
In otherwords, they do not know what to do...

I have added my two cents...

Yes, its not you, its them. On my desktop, i dont hav problems, but their mobile site yep..takes 5 minutes, and I have excellent wireless service. Their pages are so graphic and ad intensive that it takes wireless forever to handle. it's no longer worth my time.
Call corporate, tell them their IT dept is preventing a quality mobile site.. I did. Only thing you can do. Call and complain, but DONT just tell them their internet it slow, tell them WHY their website is slow. Tell them theyre trying to run a mobile site like a desktop site, and they need to stop it. Tell them their pages are so ad and graphics intensive, that the page refreshes 10 times before it finally dowloads. Tell them "you cant cram graphics intensity adware into a mobile ap listing margin."
Tell them Mobile sites, even facebook have to water down their script writing. Walmart hires people that havent figured that a mobile site and a desktop site have to be two different programs. Themobile site has to be watered down for speed. Bells and whistles and ads flashing out of every corner just cant be done on amobile pro. Their upsells and extra features and blue light specials have to go. Bottom line, the pagevis sl8w bc theyre forcing too much data and graphics onto a mobike space. Their not inthe 21st century yet
