snake game!! haha I think we all represent in this thread the beginnings of home computer and first consoles era. Can you imagine it?
I started playing contra and the two player was awesome. Finishing this game also brought me to tears very difficult game to play. No check points made this game intense.
Leisure Suit Larry by Sierra was my favorite game for many years ago. I still have working versions on one my my old computers.
Hello everyone, Did you remeber what was your first Video game. I liked " Duck Hunt", my father gifted me an Atari with a diskette, I remember I played Duck Hunt lot of time, What a time that was, No Androif, No PS, No iOS, No Cds. Just a Tv screen my joystick and i ...
First game was Pong. Second was Space Invaders. Had to pump quarters into machines to play at pinball arcades or bars as no one had a home system because they were too large and too expensive. Yes, I am older than dirt.
I'm about the same, only a family friend was renting them out so we'd play them in his garage with the cash box open. So different for my kids - I remember setting my son up on the PBS website when he was 3, doing something quickly with his big sister, getting back and finding he was in a different game entirely "because he didn't like the first one". Never used a mouse before, never used a website but the site was so well designed that this little kid could use it with no prior experience. Most of the users here won't be able to remember their first game, it'll just be a blur in their childhood that they take for granted. It's only us oldies who remember.
OMG, that would have been like paradise back then! Money was always tight for we kids, so we could not play for long at any one session. Simply ran out of quarters.
I will have to ask my 14-year-old, the hardcore gamer, and my 23-year-old daughter (who dabbles a little in video games) what their first games were. I am certain that they were some sort of educational games as they were probably quite young.
lol, I suspect you played other offline games before you played the SPORT of cricket this thread is about computer based games
Did a quick search and the first cricket video game seems to have been released in 1996 for the Sega console (Brian Lara Cricket '96) so it is possible that he was referring to a video game...unlikely, but possible.
