Contest $75 logo contest for vinyl decal making company

Hello guys, I'm looking for a logo for my UK-based company which manufactures high quality vinyl decals/stickers primarily for cars and games consoles. The brand name is Phoenix Detail. PLEASE AWAIT THE NEW BRAND NAME! SINCERE APOLOGIES BUT ALL CURRENT ENTRIES WILL STILL BE CONSIDERED!

Here is a list of requirements:

1) The design absolutely MUST be COMPLETELY ORIGINAL.

2) Any font used MUST be 100% free to use commercially and ideally it should be modified in some way that makes it completely unique.

3) Colours are up to you guys, but since the brand is based on the mythological Phoenix bird, red/orange would be a nice place to start. If you feel something else works better, use that!

We're just looking for a change really, something for the long-term. Something really upmarket and unique.

The winner will be required to send the file in EPS format - the design needs to be vectorised and fully scalable.

We recently held a contest for a template design and selected a winner (can be seen in my recent posts), so rest assured a winner will be selected and receive the full $75 sent as a gift so there are no fees on your end.

This contest will run for 48 hours.

Thanks for the entry Agenk, there's definitely something there I like, but something is off with the eyes - I think they may look a bit aggressive. Not sure about the P and the D letters either. There's definitely something there though!

Edit* I'd like to add to this as I've just noticed that you've used the existing feathers from the previous logo and put some basic text on there. I'd like a completely original design, even original from our previous logo. It's not a bad attempt, but I'm really looking for something unique and special here.

Thanks for your entry Puttu, not a bad design at all, I do like what you've done with the eyes, however I would like the feathers from our current logo to not be used. I'd like everything to be original, even from our previous logo. If possible, more integration with Phoenix text would be nice.

Thanks topsniper, I do like the integration with the text, this is my favourite logo so far. There are some things I would like to see though, namely a bit more of an indication as to who we are and what we do - perhaps some emphasis on the attention to detail that we offer would be nice.

Thanks for your entry katesrobyn. Again, a nice design however I feel that the phoenix bird isn't defined enough and is too small relative to the text - when viewed small the logo just isn't brand-defining enough - maybe you could somehow alter this? Also, some inclination as to the high level of detail that we offer would be nice. This is something I like about our current logo - it looks as though the Phoenix is focusing on something very small.

This is a really nice entry. I especially like what you've done with the X and the phoenix looks great. However the logo will need to be displayed very small and still be visible, is there any way you can integrate the phoenix into the text?

MUCH better entry agenk, I really like that you've taken my points on board. This design and SGDESIGNS design are my current favourites.

Just wanted to add to my previous reply by saying this: it would be nice if you could also make the bird itself slightly more basic so that it could be viewed the same in black and white or when cut out on a vinyl cutting machine - that is to say that it should be basic shapes that can be cut. It isn't far off as it is though. I hope this makes sense - if it doesn't ask me and I can clarify! Thanks again!
