I have recently started a free webhosting company.
The site is 100% free but I need a 1000 signups a day.
Can someone please recommend an honest traffic source?
ie. Not some rip-off merchants sending hitbots etc..

Get the homepage of any of the user generated news sites like digg, reddit, newsvine, etc. and you will likely peg your bandwidth.

1000 signups a day is a lot to achieve. You would need at least 1500 uniques/day to achieve this.

Submit to stumbleupon - You'd be surprised how much traffic it sends.

CPC programs are always good for high quality traffic. Of course you have to pay for it.

Trusted CPC programs are AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MS adCenter

I guess digg.com will get you the highest traffic. That is if you manage to get on the front page.

You want 1000 people to open hosting accounts every day?
PPC is your best bet, since you need to maximise the quality
of your traffic. There's no point having 10K Digg users, since
9,999 won't want hosting. If people are clicking through your
ad.. they're much more likely to sign up.

Try Google Ads or buy advertising space at a hosting related high traffic site, that'd send some traffic your way. Alternatively, you could also try buying emails to those people who register at the free web hosting forums.

Your best option for free promotion would be to contact webmasters who maintain a list of "free hosting providers". Send them an email, be polite and ask them to include your site in their list. That should get the ball rolling for you.
    Bye :)

    ezinearticles.com ;)
Not as much of a traffic driver as digg but can be pretty cool with long term traffic when used correctly.

You could also get MySpace bulletins sent, people over there are always willing to have their own sites, but do offer them a free subdomain as well
