Hey guys you all said Wordpress is the best,
I am a noob, please name any popular classified, real estate or local listing directory website using Wordpress CMS.
Subrion themes looks professional, Wordpress themes and plugins can't compete with Subrion or other CMS on these niches.
    Wordpress is best for blogging.

    Hey @vikie sangre

You made my day with your Subrion mention :) Yep, we indeed have pretty good packages for auto classifieds & realty scripts. At the moment we are working on one more template for autos package. Keep an eye on our twitter ;)

Frankly speaking, no doubt that WordPress is the most popular and one of the best in its functionality. But also we should mention such platforms like Drupal, Rubedo and Joomla. They also can be an item to choose in 2015-2016.

I have used Wordpress on sites with over 10,000 members.
I have used Wordpress on eCommerce sites with over 100,000 products.
I have used Wordpress on sites with 10,000 visitors per day.

So, what do you classify as a "large site"?

WordPress is one of the best Content Management System (CMS). There is a big portal of both free and paid plugins.

I personally enjoy using Wordpress as far as content management systems go. WordPress is easy to use and understand. If your website requires constant changes, WordPress has great functionality for that. It may not be the best thing to use for large scale websites but for small businesses, non-profit organizations, musicians, lawyers, directory sites, and blog sites - WordPress works great.

If your CMS app doesn't have RANDOM what good is it.
This one can randomly select and play groupings of Text, video segments, pictures, audio

If you don't sample your content now and again you will never know when it has been corrupted.

Why, exactly, would data get "corrupted" randomly? Yes, external links CAN deteriorate, but that is easily checked with a link-checker. I can't really understand why you'd need some random pull from a database or whatever to PERHAPS spot a broken data-entry. Wouldn't a smarter choice be to just pull EVERYTHING, and push errors if something doesn't work? That way you don't need to bother users, you have everything in a log-file somewhere.

The only thing I can fathom being more interesting when it's random, is music. Playlists are usually set to "shuffle", to vary how you listen to them. But for text/images/videos, I don't want to see random stuff - I want to see what I want to see when I activate it. Granted, some random output can be good, for instance "daily quotes" or similar on public pages, or something like that... but again, that's a couple lines of code.

Defiantly its Joomla i think, there are not so many differences between Joomla and Word Press, the most popular Content Management System is Word Press, but Joomla is more easy as compared to Word Press.

Random groupings is an option. Great for a learning app. Questions and answers play as groupings of "text, video segments, audio, pictures"

    One smart user stated:
"this is an honest-to-God useful feature. I've often wished the shuffle function on music devices could be made to work this way. The reason is that I mainly listen to classical music. Much of that music is divided into movements, with each movement being a separate track. The movements themselves are not independent, however, and in sequence form the complete work. So I'd like to be able to say, for instance, "Play all my Beethoven pieces in a random order", and have Symphony #6 followed by Piano Concerto #5 rather than Symphony #6, movement II followed by Piano Concerto #5, movement I."

So... basically random-play based off of folders. Since you're providing no code, nor providing any links to anything useful, apart from posting random, non-relevant videos or similar... why?

I've been using Concrete5 for a few years now and really like it. I find it easier to use and far more intuitive than WordPress. The marketplace for themes and add-ons is very small by comparison of course but you can normally find everything you need. For SEO purposes I've found it works very well and because of the small number of websites using it the hackers don't waste their time on it.

I would certainly recommend it to anyone new to creating websites as it is so easy to learn.

One of my main threads has been:
"nobody shares knowledge better than this" It has gone on for over 2700 responses. No techie anywhere can match me for access and sharing my info. You can't share what you don't have a good handle on.

No CMS system anywhere can touch Old Swampie. Nope.
