I did a protocol named Sitebases, it will make everything easy. Better than Sitemaps. Need not download per pages for the Search Engines. Just the updated XML files can settle everythings. http://www.sitebases.org/protocol/
Considering the traffic you can obtain from a source like DP, I believe you could offer a few more words on the subject... Just a thought /miko67
You are right. I am perfecting the protocol and wish can save 95% cost for all then will... It is , it is I can not say it well. It is whole new web will comes. That will be the real web 2.0. Very high.
looks just like a sitemap to me.......plus I already have scripts that automatically update my sitemaps..
I suggest you remove some of the Google ads, you have too many and Google is filling some of the adspaces with clothing tags and name tag ads ("hello my name is"). If you have less ads the ads will be more focused and users will take your XML schema more seriously. Also, I am not sure why I would use something other than Google Sitemaps due to the importance of Google.
The first thing you need to do is to make the big SEs accept your protocal first. To make google, yahoo and msn accept your protocal, it's not a easy job. Just like you want to sell electronics to Europe, you have to meet their CE standards. And now you make another standard called anything you like, even it's better than CE, how can you ask Europe to replace CE with yours?
Thank you for you suggestion. I will remove some ads. This ads can make money, I want money. This protocol can make both webmaster and search engine work on the lower cost. This protocol is almost the same with sitemaps. The only difference is can save much more money and times. And can have the perfect gathering for the webpages. Simpler, Cheaper, Better.
The reason is this protocol can save money. It can save 95% bandwidth and times for the search engines. Also can save bandwidth for the webmasters.
Yes, you are right. I plan to do a search engine use this protocol. For the same big. This protocol can also save 95% hardwear cost. I need money, Need big money. No money, no dream.
Okay yes, you have "everything" in this rdf file using a particular ontology that describes websites. But you wont save money, as "everything" is in this file. If thats a 10GB database, in a single file, your going to burn huge money on bandwidth. Secondly without looking at the website, how does the engine know your not lying about the content? Im sure goolge would of though of this already, but why? The page already has meta tags for description, and the content its self is on that page. Also if you only download the pages that you say have updated, you could be going from 10GB of data, to 1GB, which is much friendler. So, I do not see how you would save money. Pierce
1.For 10G, if 20k per pages, should including 500000pages. I often download movies at big size, also I have exprience to download whole craiglist pages. Download big burn the money, but much less than download the files(same size total) separately. Too many processes will make crawler tired and make the website cpu down. 2.For check lying, google can select some pages to check. And in my next vision, Google no need to crawl the pages to check. 3.For uploaded pages, I have the ways. Please visite http://www.sitebases.org. My web is almost the same with the sitemaps, Please note the difference. Sitebases, Google lost it. Lucky, I get it. It is simple, cheap, but more powerful. I am not clever, just have good lucky. I can hear the voice from God.
Wow, it is my dream. Do you have the way? How to connect to them? Big company have many departments and hardly notice on some papers. Should know someone in the companies and can have time to discuss on it.
Google, Yahoo & Microsoft Launch Sitemaps.org Sitemaps consists of an XML file designed to crawling by allowing webmasters to list all their pages, notify search engines of changes or new pages, and identify unchanged pages to prevent unnecessary crawling and conserve bandwidth. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft have announced their common support for Sitemaps 0.90 as a universal method for webmasters to make their sites more search engine friendly. This initiative builds upon the Sitemaps 0.84, which was originally developed as a joint venture between Google and Yahoo.... ... read more
