THIS IS NOT IN THE WRONG FORUM Hi guys, I advertised on a site on adengage.com and the hits from there had a very high CTR on my adsense ads. Today I got banned from adsense for invalid clicks and I know this could be the only explanation. What should I do? I don't want a court case, I just want to fine them... Any tips?
Fine who? How do you know none of the clicks or impression where invalid? The only option you have is to appeal the ban and present your case.
I "know" (80% sure) because there were days when i wasn't advertising with this specific site (http://www.luyenphim.us/) and days when I was. When I wasn't, I had about $2-$4 worth of clicks with a <10% CTR. When I was, I had about $20-$30 worth's clicks with about 15%-30% CTR!! I am not positive but pretty sure... Thanks for the advice, I'll appeal. To appeal can I just reply to the banning email?
None of us can be pretty sure about invalid clicks, thats what is driving most publishers paranoid. If you recieved the banned email there should be a link to appeal or at least info on how to.
I got banned from Adsense to a couple of months ago! Why? Some teen on another forum was pissed at me, so I desided to ruin my reputation with Google.. And god dammit, it worked! Two days of constant clicking a few times a day, and I was banned.. and there was nothing I could do about it! Adsense is cruel..
I'm guessing it was to do with arbitrage rather than anything else. http://www.forbes.com/home/technolo...advertising-search-tech_cx_ag_1207google.html From this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=196633 Refuted by Shoemoney
If you're not going to actually go to court, you're not going to get them fined. After all, who do you expect to do the fining? Not to mention that you probably would be laughed out of court if you did actually pursue this through the legal system. Disclaimer: Not legal advice.
