I changed the colors to my W/B design. Honestly, I still think this is the one that represents the platform a bit more than the others. It's got the B, the W, and the "base". Also, the multiple colors symbolise creativity and diversity, the overlaying of the pieces symbolises how all of these fields (web, graphic, photography, writers) are interconnected and at some point overlay. (photography is needed in webdesign, writers need webdesign for their blogs, webdesigners need graphic etc etc). However, I have come up with some different concepts too. This is the same as before but with a little twist.
1st concept- I truly think you might be onto something here. However, I wasn't able to understand the whole point of the emblem until you explained it to me though. That is concerning. The line which represents the 'base' seems a bit unfitting- but I realize it helps to make part of the 'B'. Still though- I'm not sure if it really gels too well. Your 2nd concept- This one looks good and I'm liking the emblem. Only thing is the logo as a whole doesn't really reflect or symbolize what we do. For the 3rd concept- Not really feeling this one. The emblem seems too bulky. I think we can skip this one. For the 4th concept- I think this is within the realm of what we're looking for. My irritation is the sizing of the emblem is disproportionate to the rest of the logo text.
Sorry, this is not what we're looking for. There shouldn't be any gradients in any aspect of the logo. Please read the brief and refer to the examples posted.
Cool concept, and I like that you understand our idea of integrating our emblem/logo into a social icon. Just not sure I'm feeling the font. Try a typeface similar to one of the examples provided. As for the emblem itself- I feel it seems a bit too blocky and represents a bar graph, or something statistical. Could you try playing around with this? Perhaps try some sort of circular emblem.
I like the typeface you're using here. What font is it? As for the emblem- I think it's too large and disproportionate to the rest of the logo. Could you try putting the 'B' in a circle and having the whole 'B in a circle' small enough so that it's proportionate to the rest of the logo?
IMPORTANT TIPS FOR EMBLEM! IMPORTANT TIPS FOR EMBLEM! IMPORTANT TIPS FOR EMBLEM! The emblem seems to be the troubling issue here. Here are some concept examples you can consider: A shape or circle with a 'B' or other unique and distinctive design in it A shape or circle with a 'Bw' in it. Keep in mind our marketplace will also focus on LOCAL freelancers- not just remote/offshore. I'm not paying $100 for clip/stock art.
Sorry- just not feeling this. The font is plain/boring and I'm not a huge fan of the emblem. Also, please ensure the 'b' is in lowercase. I think it looks better that way.
