Why are you selling this site?
I've thoroughly enjoyed optimizing and putting this site together and managing it. However, I just don't have the time to give it the attention it needs.

What is one thing this site is missing?
A file management system for users. If users could upload and have their content appear on the front page, it could shoot off.

What challenges are there with running this site?
Content is mostly auto generated from RSS feeds. Some of the posts generated may be site specific so you'll need to go through once a day and delete these. I spend 5 minutes a day doing this while enjoying the viral content provided.

As mentioned above, this site has a strong presence. If you optimized the titles of the generated content, you could greatly improve a posts search ranking.

Of course. This is viral content that has already made viral status. I can hit random on the site, take the post and post it on specific sites. The spikes are from this advert style.

Tomorrow, you'll see another spike. You can do this as often as you'd like with the spikes coming from real, free users.

Viral content is comedy movies of websites.

If this website was set up with users being able to have their own profiles, the site could triple in users daily.

 

Come on dude, you had one spike of 20,000 visitors with the majority viewing just the page they landed on.

How many times have you clicked on an image at Imgur and realized you were 20 pages deep and 10 minutes has gone by?

To be fair to the seller, I've made front page in reddit and you do see traffic in the 10's of thousands within a few hours with zero Adsense earnings and 100% bounce rate. What you do find though is that you have good (image) rankings for that celebrity in the months ahead.

I'm not endorsing this site, do your own due dilligence, but ignore Matt. He's enthusiastic but a bit clueless.
