why the sitemap indexed number shows "-"?

    I submitted a sitemap, but the indexed number shows "-", what's the meaning?

    You just submitted today, Google won't crawl your site instantly, got to get in line haha

    It sounds good. But I didn't have a robots.txt file at all, which means I didn't restrict anything as so far.
